CALIBRATION SERVICES TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • The quoted price is only for calibration and certification. Any repair/spares not included in this quotation.
  • Calibration Methods: Calibration will be performed to confirm that the unit under test (UUT) meets the published original equipment manufacturer accuracy and performance or as per standard A standard number of data points will be evaluated in accordance with GCTS calibration procedures or as per Manufacturer’s calibration methods. If more or specific data points are required by the Customer, it must be specified in writing prior to commencement of the calibration work and will be charged additionally.

  • If repairs and/or replacement of spares are required prior to performing the service, an estimate of time and cost will be Repairs will be done only with customer approval.
  • Calibration due dates are determined by the customer based on their quality system, based on manufacturer recommendations or as per the standard If the calibration interval is not specified in the standards or not provided by the customer, it shall be one (1) year calibration cycle interval for all equipment’s.
  • Onsite Calibration can be scheduled as per customer’s requirement after receiving the purchase order/confirmation with sufficient notice time.
  • The quoted price is for traceable calibration only unless otherwise specified or For accredited calibration, please reply with calibration points, required uncertainty etc. after referring our accreditation scope.
  • When the work will be performed in the laboratory, GCTS provides safe handling of customer equipment during receiving, calibration and delivery.
  • Laboratory turnaround time for each regular calibration service is 2-4 working days unless otherwise specified/communicated.
  • All calibrated /repaired /calibration failed instruments must be collected from Gulf Calibration & Technical Services LLC GCTS will notify the customer on completion of job for collection. It is the customer’s responsibility to collect the instruments after calibration. The retention time of instruments will be one month. GCTS will not be responsible for any damage or loss of the items after the retention time.
  • If an instrument fails to meet the required accuracy specifications will be informed to the Customer prior to termination of the calibration The UUT will be labeled or tagged as “REJECTED” and returned to the customer “as received.” A test report /fault report can be issued with an additional charge.
